몰입과 안정감 속에서 보내는 일주일

스타트업 엑셀러레이터 크립톤과 도시재생 엑셀러레이터 크립톤엑스, 공간 운영사 크립톤케이의 전문가들이 2023년 7월, 제주시 탑동에 창의 인재들을 위한 워크앤스테이 공간 리플로우 제주를 열었다. 이 공간은 아라리오 뮤지엄, ABC 베이커리, 프라이탁 등 크리에이티브 그룹들이 이미 자리 잡은 원도심 재생 지역에 위치하며, 제주공항에서 15분 이내라는 지리적 이점도 갖추고 있다.

리플로우는 창의적인 일을 하는 사람들이 깊이 몰입해 일하고, 다양한 지역에서 모인 이들이 자연스럽게 연결되는 커뮤니티를 지향한다. 핫데스크와 집중데스크를 갖춘 코워킹 라운지를 조성했고, 시간대별 3단계 조도 조절을 통해 업무 집중 시간과 커뮤니티 교류 시간을 공간 분위기로 자연스럽게 구분한다. 인위적인 프로그램보다 자연스러운 대화의 자리를 만드는 것이 리플로우의 방식이다.

공간 전반에는 환경적 가치도 녹아 있다. 기존 자재와 구조를 최대한 유지해 폐기물 발생을 줄였고, 폐린넨 타월, 재활용 세면용품, 헌 옷 폐자재 파티션 등 친환경 제품들을 어메니티와 인테리어 전반에 활용했다. 크립톤은 앞으로 교통 거점 인근 지역을 중심으로 리플로우를 확장하며, 창조 계층의 네트워크와 지역 재생을 동시에 이끄는 새로운 방법론을 이어갈 계획이다.

In July 2023, experts from startup accelerator Krypton, urban regeneration accelerator Krypton X, and space operator Krypton K opened re:flow Jeju, a work-and-stay space for creative professionals, in Tapdong, Jeju City. The project sits in an old downtown regeneration area already populated by creative groups such as Arario Museum, ABC Bakery, and Freitag, while also benefiting from a location within fifteen minutes of Jeju Airport.

re:flow is designed for creative professionals to work with deep focus while naturally connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. The co-working lounge includes both hot desks and focus desks, and a three-stage lighting system helps the atmosphere shift organically between concentrated work time and community exchange.

Environmental values are woven throughout the project. Existing materials and structures were preserved wherever possible to reduce waste, while recycled linen towels, reclaimed-bottle amenities, and partitions made from discarded fabric were used across the interiors and guest amenities. Looking ahead, Krypton plans to expand re:flow near transportation hubs, continuing to build a methodology that supports both creative networks and local regeneration.
