프로젝트 후암 홈페이지 기획 및 제작

프로젝트 후암은 서울 용산구 후암동을 주요 무대로, 오래된 동네의 공간과 사람, 일상의 이야기를 기록하고 공유하는 로컬 프로젝트다. 도시공감협동조합건축사사무소가 2016년부터 후암동에 거점을 마련하며 시작한 이 프로젝트는, 지역 주민과 방문자가 함께 참여하는 공유공간 운영과 마을 아카이빙 활동을 두 축으로 전개되었다.

공유공간 부문에서는 후암주방, 후암서재, 후암거실, 후암별채 등 다양한 성격의 공간을 기획하고 운영하며, 지역 내 1인 가구, 소규모 모임, 창작자, 주민 커뮤니티가 주요 이용층이 되었다. 동시에 후암가록과 후암동 탐구생활 같은 기록 활동을 통해 오래된 집과 사람들의 이야기, 동네의 가게와 활동을 꾸준히 아카이빙했다.

본 프로젝트는 이러한 정보와 활동을 통합적으로 소개하기 위한 웹사이트를 기획하고 제작하는 작업이었다. 공유 공간 소개와 예약 기능, 후암동 지역 소식과 기록 아카이브를 한 곳에 담을 수 있도록 설계했으며, 프로젝트 후암이 가진 공간 운영과 마을 기록의 성격을 함께 보여주는 플랫폼 구조를 지향했다.

오늘 기준으로 프로젝트 후암은 후암연립으로 이어지는 리뉴얼 버전을 운영하고 있지만, 이 작업은 초기에 다양한 공간과 커뮤니티 활동을 체계적으로 엮어내기 위한 첫 번째 디지털 접점을 구축했다는 데 의미가 있다.

Project Huam is a local initiative based in Huam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, focused on documenting and sharing the spaces, people, and everyday stories of an established neighborhood. Initiated in 2016 by Dosi Gonggam Cooperative Architects, the project developed along two main tracks: the operation of shared spaces involving local residents and visitors, and community archiving activities.

On the shared-space side, the project planned and operated places such as Huam Kitchen, Huam Study, Huam Living Room, and Huam Annex, serving single-person households, small gatherings, creators, and local communities. At the same time, documentation programs such as Huamgalog and Huam-dong Exploration continuously archived older houses, local stories, shops, and community activities.

This website project was conceived to integrate and present those multiple strands in a single digital platform. It was structured to introduce the shared spaces, support reservations, and hold local news and archival content from Huam-dong, reflecting both the operational and documentary character of Project Huam.

Although the project now continues in a renewed version under the name Huam Union, this work was significant as an early digital platform that organized the initiative's spaces, programs, and local narratives into one accessible public interface.
